Introduction and Time Line Activity

Finally we left safe seashore of Mumbai at 23:50 on Monday and started travelling in the belly of python. Train is decorated with dos and donts (lol), logos of funding partners like google, DeLL, Bajaj, Coke and quotes of big peole like Gandhi and some other role models. Right now we have crossed beautiful fields of Konkan and heading towards Hubli where we will be visiting SELCO. Last 24 hours we were busy in making new friends, meeting old friends and sharing some crazy and interesting stories.

We always have this interesting activity called Time Line on first day of yatra. It is very interesting tool which brings yatris closer in just couple of hours. People laugh and cry… make fun of each other and give hug with high sentiments… have discussions which they dont even realise when turns into burning debate..! This is the time when people come to know about ups and downs… greatness of others and realise our own incompleteness… Some unneccesarily try to decieve others and get caught at the end! But no doubt you make some of the long lasting relations on the train. This activity also makes some people believe on love at first sight..! Some lucky/unlucky 😀 people meet their so called life partners… Though we have no plans to start matrimony enterprise under umbrella of Jagriti, lot of people are doing sparrow hunting and I could see some them trying their hands on fishing too! (Just to update my curious and well wisher friends- Though I am not trying to fish but I do believe there are Jalparis :-P). Stay tuned to see what happens…
